Doesn't he just look like a Ted? My Uncle named him! We watched this big toad eating ants, and we were amazed that he was able to shoot his tongue out at them and grab many of them without any sort of light. We did notice that when we shined our headlamps at him (this was in canada at a campsight) his ant grabbing succes increased by about 35%.....I watched ted for two hours! By the second hour, ted was tired of me shining my light on him, so I went to bed and let him gorge on firey ants to his heart's content!
No. Lets just put it this way, I was out in the middle of no where, on the Magnetiwan River in Ontario Canada.....canoeing/camping....11 hours drive from home....Ted wouldn't have appreciated me taking him away from his supply of ants!
